Partner with us to bring this unique learning experience to kids you serve.

If you work with kids 9 years and up, we want to partner with you. We have several ways we can partner to bring this fun, engaging, rewarding, and educational experience in Robotics and Coding to the kids you serve.

What Would Kids Learn?

  • Kids will learn behind-the-scenes of robotics and start building the robot. They will learn about the main components needed to build a robot, understand what each component does and why they are needed, how they work, and how to connect them.

  • I will provide an overview of the Arduino IDE, a programming application, that will be used to write and assemble code before uploading it to the Robot.

  • I will provide the calibration program and teach students how to use the Arduino IDE to upload the program into robot’s memory. I will provide students an overview of the programming language C++ and explain students the specific code used to calibrate the robot. I will also teach students the basic structure of the code and teach them about common commands to control the robot.

  • I will provide the basic program /code which will bring robot to life. Kids will immediately see the robot start moving his arms and head.

  • I will explain how the code works to control different parts of the robot. Kids will start learning more about coding as they make minor changes to the code to make the robot to different things.

  • I will teach how to attach a 3-color (Red, Yellow, Green) LED and wire it to the existing robot. I will then provide a new program that will make the robot perform certain movements corresponding to a specific color of a light. Students will also learn how the code works.

  • I will teach them how to attach the drum sticks to the robot and provide a new code that will make the robot play the drum.

  • I will teach kids how the code works and how to make changes to the code to make the robot play different drum beat patterns.

FAQs

Do I need to purchase anything for the classes?

No, you do not need to purchase anything for the classes. For the in-person classes I will provide the robotic kit for hands-on experience during the classes. For the online classes (via Zoom), I will demonstrate the steps involved in building and programming of the robot.

The Robotic kits must be returned back at the end of the in-person classes as I need the robotics kits to teach classes that follow. Unfortunately, I do not have the means to provide the Robotic Kits where students can keep the robot they build in the classes. However, you may purchase the robotics kit from a third-party before the classes if you would like to keep the robot.

If I am attending online classes (via Zoom), do I need to purchase anything?

No. The purchase of the Robotics Kit is not necessary even for the online classes as I will give demonstration of everything I teach in the class including building of the robot. However, I recommend purchasing a kit if you would like your kid to have hands-on experience of actually building and programming the robot. This will also enhance an overall learning experience and your kid would get a lot more out of the classes.

Where are the in-person classes held?

The in-person classes are held in Greenwood, Indianapolis, and Columbus, IN. Please see the Classes or Summer Camps page for details.

Do you offer Summer Camps?

Yes, we will offer Summer Camps starting Summer 2024. The camps will be held in Greenwood, Indianapolis, and Columbus, IN. Please see the Summer Camps page for details.

Do you offer Online Summer Camps?

Yes, we have plans to offer Online Summer Camps starting Summer 2024. However, the exact weeks/dates will depend upon the interest level from parents and kids.

How often are the classes held?

The frequency of the classes depends upon level of interest from kids and my availability. However, I plan to offer classes every week.

Do you offer video classes where I can work and learn on my own time and at my own pace?

Yes, I have a series of video classes on my YouTube Channel. Video classes are just as effective as live classes for learning. They provide you an added flexibility to learn on your own time and at your own pace.

If I do the video classes, do I need to purchase anything to enhance the learning experience for my kids?

No. The purchase of the Robotics Kit is not necessary even for the video classes as I give demonstration of everything I teach in the class including building of the robot. However, I recommend purchasing a kit if you would like your kid to have hands-on experience of actually building and programming the robot. This will also enhance an overall learning experience and your kid would get a lot more out of the classes.
