Robotics Camps - Summer 2024

Let the summer 2024 be unforgettable. Enroll your kids in our summer Robotics & Coding camps, where they will engage in hands-on learning, creative problem solving, and team work, all while having an absolute blast.

Summer camps start the week of June 3, 2024. Camps will be held at various locations in and around Indianapolis, IN. We also offer online summer camps for those who are not able to attend in-person. Tentative dates for the Summer camps are:

Half-day Summer Camps:

Each half-day Summer camp session will be 4 days long from Mon-Thurs. You will have an option to attend the morning session or an afternoon session each day.

Option 1 : Morning Session Mon - Thus 9:00AM - 12:00PM (Eastern Standard Time)

Option 2 : Afternoon Session Mon - Thus 1:00PM - 4:00PM (Eastern Standard Time)

Cost $199/student (option to keep the robot for an additional $50)

Kids start learning about the basic concepts of robotics where they learn about various parts needed to build a robot. They also learn what each part does and how they all work together. They learn behind-the-scenes of robotics and coding. An instructor will teach them the entire process of building and programming a robot. They build a robot that plays the drum incrementally and learn how the code works for each incremental phase. Kids learn how to manipulate code to make the robot do different things. They also get access to video lessons for future reference.

Full-day Summer Camps:

Each full-day Summer camp session will be 4 days long.

Mon - Thurs from 9:00AM - 4:00PM. (Eastern Standard Time)

Cost $299/student (option to keep the robot for an additional $50)

An instructor will lead the camp where students will engage in the hands-on activities of building and programming a robot that plays the drum. They build a robot incrementally and learn how the code works for each incremental phase. Kids will learn coding where they learn to code using a programming language C++. Kids will also learn to manipulate code to make the robot do different things. They learn core engineering concepts of Designing, Building and Programming a robot. They get exposure to different types of robots. They get more in-depth exposure to coding and learn to develop and test various code sketches where they see immediate results. Various exercises are designed to enhance their critical thinking and develop a strong foundation in robotics and coding. They also learn how to write their own code to make the robot do different things, such as making the robot play different drum beats. They will also be provided with access to video lessons.

Summer Camps Online:

Online summer camps provide you flexibility to attend the camps online via Zoom from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a computer with internet access to join the online class via Zoom. An instructor will lead the camp very much like the in-person camp where kids will engage in the hands-on activities of building and programming a robot that plays the drum. Kids will learn coding where they learn to code using a programming language C++. Kids will also learn to manipulate code to make the robot do different things. The cost of the online camp includes the robotics kit with all the parts you will need to follow along the instructions and engage in the hands-on activities. They will also be provided with access to video lessons.

The online camp is 4 days long, Mon - Thurs. You will have an option to attend the morning session or an afternoon session each day.
