Robotics & Coding Camps - Summer 2026

In-person (Greenwood, Fishers, Carmel, Avon) or Online Via Zoom

Looking for a fun, hands-on way to keep your kids engaged and learning this summer? Our Kids Explore Robotics Summer Camps are the perfect mix of creativity, problem-solving, and pure fun.

Each week-long camp is designed for kids ages 6 and up and offers a progressive learning path, where kids build, code, and bring their own robots to life. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has taken our classes before, they’ll find new challenges, exciting builds, and endless opportunities to explore.

What to Expect

Let the Summer be Unforgettable!

  1. Hands-On Building – Kids create multiple robots during the camp, using real components like microcontrollers, motors, LEDs, sensors, and power systems.

  2. Fun Coding Challenges – Beginner-friendly coding helps kids make their robots move, light up, and interact in fun ways.

  3. Creative Exploration – Every child works at their own pace, experimenting and problem-solving with guidance from our expert instructors.

  4. Small Group Learning – With small class sizes, every child gets plenty of one-on-one support.

  • Camp Duration – Each camp runs Monday through Friday, 3 hours per day.

  • Age Groups – Camps are open for kids ages 6 and up.

  • Small Class Sizes – Limited spots available to ensure personalized attention.

  • Locations – Camps are held at several locations in Indiana (Greenwood, Avon, Carmel, Fishers…).

How It Works

Summer Camp Levels

1) Summer Robotics Camps – Level 1A & 1B

5-Day Camp | 3 Hours/Day | Hands-On + Take-Home Robots

Our Level 1 Summer Robotics Camps are the perfect starting point for kids curious about robotics and coding. Both Level 1A and Level 1B teach the same foundational concepts — kids explore the essential components of robots like microcontrollers, motors, LEDs, memory, power sources, and structural parts — but each camp features a different set of builds and programming challenges.

  • Level 1A: Build 5 to 7 unique robots, including a dancing robot, robotic gate, traffic light and windmill, single-digit counter, robotic merry-go-round, and drumming robot.

  • Level 1B: Take on a new set of 5 to 7 projects, such as a three-wheeler, SUV, robotic carousel ride, two-digit counter, construction arrow, and creative LED display patterns.

Each day blends fun, creativity, and learning with activities like:

  • Hands-On Robot Building – Create working robots step by step with guidance from expert instructors.

  • Beginner-Friendly Programming – Use simple coding to make robots move, light up, or interact.

  • Creative Problem-Solving – Experiment, troubleshoot, and celebrate every “aha!” moment.

  • Group Discussions & Team Activities – Build communication and collaboration skills while sharing ideas.

Kids also take home two robots they’ve built during the week — a perfect way to keep the excitement and learning going at home.

Should Your Child Do Both Level 1A and Level 1B?

You are not required to enroll in both sessions — you can pick either Level 1A or Level 1B, and your child will have a fantastic experience.

However, if your schedule and budget allow, enrolling in both sessions is highly recommended because:

  • Double the Fun: Each camp features completely different robot builds and programming challenges.

  • More Practice, More Confidence: Extra builds mean extra opportunities to explore, create, and problem-solve.

  • Perfect for Full-Day Campers: Level 1A runs in the morning and Level 1B in the afternoon (or vice versa, depending on the schedule), creating a full-day robotics camp with 6 hours of immersive, hands-on learning and creativity every day.

Whether you choose one level or both, your child will leave camp with new skills, take-home robots, and the excitement to keep exploring robotics.

2) Summer Robotics Camps – Level 2 (Build & Program Smart Robots with Sensors)

5-Day Camp | 3 Hours/Day | Hands-On + Take-Home Robots

Our Level 2 Robotics Camp is perfect for kids who have completed Level 1 (or have prior robotics experience) and are ready to take their skills to the next level.

In this intermediate, hands-on camp, kids build 4–6 advanced robots, including one they get to take home, using sensors and upgraded components to make their creations even smarter.

Throughout the week, campers will:

  • Learn how different types of sensors—such as motion, light, and distance—work.

  • Program robots to read and respond to real-time sensor data, creating robots that can move, react, and “think.”

  • Build logic and problem-solving skills by designing robots that make smart decisions.

  • Collaborate with peers in group challenges that inspire creativity and teamwork.

Using our custom-designed robotics kits and a curriculum developed by an engineer and his son, a Purdue University engineering student, kids enjoy a fun, engaging, and challenging experience guided by expert instructors.

By the end of the week, campers will leave with a stronger foundation in programming, sensors, and robotics design, plus a take-home robot to continue experimenting and learning at home.

3) Summer Robotics Camps – Level 3 (Design Challenge)

5-Day Camp | 3 Hours/Day | Hands-On + Take-Home Robots

Our Level 3 Robotics Camp is an advanced, hands-on experience designed for kids who already have a strong foundation in robotics and are ready for the next big challenge.

This camp is a perfect fit for kids who have completed our Level 1 and Level 2 camps—or for any child with comparable robotics experience. It builds on the skills they’ve learned in previous levels and challenges them to think more independently and creatively.

In this camp, students step into the role of robot inventors and problem-solvers, tackling real-world-inspired design challenges. Instead of following step-by-step builds, campers use their knowledge and creativity to engineer custom robot solutions.

Throughout the week, campers will:

  • Design their own robots based on project criteria and goals

  • Choose the right components from a full parts inventory, including sensors, motors, microcontrollers, and structural elements

  • Adapt and refine their plans based on available parts and design constraints

  • Program their robots for advanced tasks like obstacle avoidance, movement precision, and automated actions

  • Practice critical skills like logical reasoning, iterative problem-solving, and creative thinking

Under the guidance of expert instructors, students work through the full engineering design process, from concept to creation, with opportunities to test, troubleshoot, and improve their robots.

By the end of the week, every camper will have built a fully functional custom robot to take home—and gained the confidence and skills to approach any robotics challenge with curiosity and creativity.
