July 18th & September 10, Saturday 9AM-12PM
Join us for an exciting 3-hour weekend robotics camp where kids build TWO fun, hands-on robotics projects while exploring the exciting world of robotics, movement, motors, and STEM learning.
Students will build:

Step into the world of engineering and imagination as children build a colorful Carousel Robot powered by a real motor.
Kids will learn how to make their carousel spin faster, slower, forward, and backward while exploring how engineers design rides that move safely and smoothly. Once complete, they can add their own toy animals or figurines for endless fun at home.

How do gates open and close automatically? In this exciting workshop, children will build their own Robotic Gate and learn how engineers use motors to control movement.
Using a simple control dial, students will open and close their gate while exploring how servo motors work in garages, security gates, amusement parks, and many other real-world applications.

Can Air Make a Car Move? Absolutely!
Children will build a fun propeller-powered vehicle driven by a spinning DC motor. As the propeller pushes air backward, the vehicle moves forward using thrust power. Kids will also explore how changing the motor’s direction changes the propeller rotation, allowing the vehicle to move in reverse.
Kids will test their racers, watch them zoom across the floor, and discover how moving air can create motion.

Kids will build an advanced 3-Wheeler Robotics Vehicle and discover how real vehicles use separate systems for steering and movement control.
This unique vehicle uses a 360-degree servo motor to power the front wheel and a dedicated 180-degree motor for steering. Using dual controllers, students will independently control the vehicle’s speed and steering direction, allowing them to drive forward, reverse, turn left, turn right, and create circles of different sizes.

Kids will build a fun interactive Coin-Eating Robot powered by a 180-degree servo motor and discover how engineers use precise movement and control systems in robotics.
Using a simple controller, students will carefully raise the robot’s arm to feed a coin into the robot’s mouth. Along the way, they will experiment with speed, timing, and arm angle to successfully guide the coin without dropping it.
Kids will explore how small adjustments can greatly affect movement and accuracy while developing patience, coordination, and problem-solving skills through hands-on experimentation.

Using variable speed controls, students will adjust the speed of each wheel as they spin in opposite directions. By experimenting with different speed combinations, kids will observe how small changes affect the robot’s spinning speed, balance, and motion.
